About us

The Acros Trio was founded in 2007 with the idea to revive and promote Latin American classical music and composers.

Thus, as well as offering interpretations of the great works of piano trio literature, Acros Trio performs a rich blend of Spanish and Latin American music as central part of their ever-growing repertoire. Within Concert Programs one finds pieces that are characteristically Latin American, that often the musicians have carefully arranged for the trio. This originality and versatility gives the interpretations of the Acros Trio an individual dynamic and a unique sound spectrum.

The Acros Trio has already in performed in prominent Concert Halls such as the Musikverein in Vienna, and has been invited to prestigious festivals such as the Wiener Festwoche. They have also performed numerous concerts with the \"Jeunesses Musicales Germany\", amongst other engagements.

In 2012 the Acros Trio was accepted into the Chamber Music masters program with Prof. Johannes Meissl and Prof. Avedis Kouyoumdijan at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Additionally, the Trio participates regularly in master classes and has worked with renowned professors and artists such as Homes Müller, Konrad Elser, Gerhard Schulz, Shmuel Ashkenazi, Ferenc Rados, Hariolf Schlichtig, Matthias Kirschnereit, the Vogler Quartet and the Cuarteto Casals.
